How it flows for a new visitor

  1. New visitor hits Home or Landing → discovers Kids Zone.

  2. On the public Kids Zone page they:

    • play a sample quiz / see a teaser puzzle

    • then hit “Ask your grown-up to sign in”.

  3. After signup/login, they’re taken to the Daily Challenge (Members Area) page, which:

    • pulls their child profile

    • calls Supabase to pick today’s challenge.

That gives you:

  • Marketing & SEO on public pages.

  • Real personalised loop (Elo, streaks, history) behind login.

So: put the real Daily Challenge in the Members Area; keep the Kids Zone page public as a teaser and gateway.

If you’re building this as native Wix elements (no embed)

Create these four boxes on the /kids-zone page and give them the exact IDs:

  • #publicTeaserBox – visible

    • 3 “feature” cards (Sample quiz / Today’s puzzle preview / Stories & packs)

  • #lockedBox – visible

    • title, short copy, and button → #loginCtaBtn

  • #childPickerBox – hidden by default

    • row of child pills (Ava, Leo, …)

  • #realKidsBox – collapsed by default

    • text → #childNameText

    • button → #startChallengeBtn

Your Velo page code will then:

  • show #lockedBox if no member logged in

  • show #childPickerBox when logged in but no current child

  • expand #realKidsBox once a child is set (and wire #startChallengeBtn to route to the quiz with ?dc=<id>&child=<id>)

Page layout (what to put on /kids-zone)

Sections:

  1. Hero (visible to everyone):

    • Big title: “Kids Zone”

    • Subtitle: “Daily challenge • Maths quiz • Reading stories”

    • Cute image

  2. Free tiles (visible to everyone):

    • “Play a sample quiz”

    • “Try today’s puzzle”

    • “Watch 1 story”
(these can link to your existing freebies/test pages)

  3. Locked panel (shows paywall):

    • “Today’s challenge (locked)”

    • Button: “Ask your grown-up to sign in”

  4. Hidden real content box (we show only if parent logged in and we know the child):

    • “Hi Ava 👋”

    • “Start today’s challenge”

    • “Continue quiz”

So kids see it, but can’t start it.

“Stories (coming soon)” card that opens a simple static section:

“We’re working on magical STEM stories with voice-over… join the waitlist / subscribe to hear them first!”

Purpose: Playground + teaser for subscription.

Sections on this page:

  1. Big title: “Public Kids Zone”
Tagline: Daily STEM puzzles • Games • Brain teasers • Magic • Quizzes

  2. Card strip (what you already built):

    • Puzzles

    • Magic / Optical illusions

    • Mini Games

    • Quizzes

    • Brain Teasers

Each “Play” button → its own section on the same page or a very light sub-page with:

    • 3–5 interactive teasers (static HTML or template-based)

    • Soft banner at bottom: “Unlock 1000+ smart puzzles – Start your free trial”

  3. “What you unlock if you join” band

    • Daily challenge, streaks, personalised levels, parent reports

  4. CTA strip

    • Start daily challenges → signup

    • Test your level → quiz funnel

Rule of thumb:

  • Kids should be able to click in here without login and play safely.

  • Every page has 1–2 “please get me the real thing” CTAs aimed at parents.

STEM brain teasers, magic/optical illusion, quizzes, games, stories (short), puzzles, etc we need to pique interest to buy
